Owned by Leslie and Nona, a mother/daughter duo, All Wound Up will be celebrating their 4th Anniversary in July 2019. They love being a major part of the fiber arts community in Edmonds. All Wound Up holds many wonderful treasures including an extensive fingering/sock yarn collection, and comfortable sitting areas for those who wish to stay a while. We are welcoming to all, no matter your age, gender, race, economic status, religion, or ability. (And we have wide, accessible aisles, and an ADA compliant restroom).
The shop is organized by weight, so you can easily find just what you want. They carry many luxurious yarns dyed by local independent artist including Qing, Anzula Fibers, Polka Dot Sheep, Palouse Yarn Co, Primrose Yarn Co, Woolen Boon, Spincycle Yarns, Huckleberry Knits, and Blue Moon Fiber Arts. We have gorgeous English Wools from West Yorkshire Spinners, Jamieson’s, and Studio Donegal. For those seeking more affordable yarns for everyday knit and crochet projects, we carry a wide variety of Malabrigo and Berroco yarns. You can see our entire line up of yarns on our website. We also have hand made yarn bowls (wood and ceramic), stitch markers, and project bags from local artists.
Be sure to check our website for upcoming classes and events. We update it weekly for your convenience. Please join us at one of our free Fiber Social gatherings held four times during the week: Tuesdays 9:30-11:30 am; Thursdays 6-9 pm; and Fridays 2-4 pm. Bring a project and socialize with other fiber enthusiasts.
All Wound Up is located in Perrinville, just a bit northeast of downtown Edmonds. Situated on 76th Ave W and Olympic View Drive, it’s conveniently close to Hwy 99, and 196th/Hwy 524. We share a parking lot with other businesses, and also have ample street parking. **The week of the tour we have been offered use of a lot across the street from the shop. Look for signs to direct you!**
Those coming from the Edmonds Ferry terminal, turn left from Main St on to 3rd Ave. Follow the road as it curves through Edmonds and then becomes Hwy 524/Puget Drive. Take a left at the light on 76th Ave W. After about 3-4 blocks, All Wound Up will be on the right.
